On Good Friday, we had a special prayer session with the children. We came together to prayer for our Easter Childen’s Outeach. It’s was a fun way to introduce the children to group prayer. 

First we played music and had the children bounce the balloons into the air. 

When the music stopped, they had to grab a balloon and go to the prayer station of the same colour as their balloon.

The treasure seekers camp was a huge hit this year, by the grace of God. The kids were asking why there were no more camp for days after the event. We are so grateful for the “unexpected” help that turned up from mums and other volunteers.

The younger kids learnt 3 key verses:

I praise you Lord because I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. Ps 139:14

God sent His one and only Son. John 3:16

Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. John 13:34

Some of the two plus year olds could remember the verses after the camp. Putting the verses to tune was a great help.

Due to the recent increase in HFMD, we urge parents to follow the Ministry of Health’s advisory to keep children with HFMD or suspected HFMD at home until all the blisters have dried up.

Do let any of the teachers know if your child has been infected so that we can keep you in prayer.
